At eight Claire was the youngest pupil to be accepted at Redroofs Theatre School. She worked as a child actress in TV, film, theatre and was a regular on the voice over scene. She was a member of N.Y.M.T, performing in wonderful venues such as The Swan in Stratford and at The Albert Hall. Claire continued her studies at Redroofs on the two year straight acting course. Where she found her true passion as a serious actress.

Now a young women Claire wanted to work on her vocal technique, so she went to The Royal Academy of Music on the musical theatre course, run by Mary Hammond. After graduating from R.A.M Claire went to Italy and was a principle performer in a national tour of a musical concert show, culminating to sell out dates at La Scala, in Milan.

Claire has been in several plays including: A UK number one tour of Jane Eyre (Blanche Ingraham, understudy Jane), Gaslight (Nancy, understudy Paula). Two world tours: Romeo and Juliet (Lady Capulet) and Macbeth (Lady Macbeth). On a lighter note a tour of.....Outside Edge by Richard Harris (Sharon). This is where Claire discovered her love of comedy, learning her craft from the established actors she was working with. Claire was also in Confusions (Millie and Paula) and Joking Apart (Anthea) by Alan Ayckbourne , at the exciting Union Theatre in Southwark.

Claire especially enjoys being a part of new work.....workshop productions include: Trash Christ (Barbara – the lead role) at the Soho Theatre, Casanova Returns (Barbara - juvenile lead) at the Cardiff Musical Theatre Festival, Blood Drive at the Bridewell (A three handed dark musical comedy where Claire played a Seductive Nurse in a Poster that came to life) Best Friends and Butterflies (Sam) at the Greenwich Theatre and The Box (Emily) - finalist at The Sitcom Missions.

Claire’s favourite musical role to date was playing the lead, Swallow, in Whistle Down The Wind on tour and in the West End at The Palace Theatre, to critical acclaim. In 2008 she toured the country again in Half a Sixpence as Ann Pornick, opposite Gary Wilmot. Two diverse leading roles but both wonderful experiences. Claire has also started performing in her own Cabaret at venues such as The Pheasantry.

Claire has appeared in several pantomimes including: Peter Pan playing Wendy opposite Jon Lee and Steve Furst. And Jill in Jack and The Beanstalk alongside eighties sensation Sonia. For two Christmas seasons Claire has been playing The Ghost of Christmas Past in Scrooge, alongside Tommy Steele.

Claire worked on  several short films and commercials recently and has just completed filming for her first lead role in a feature film, A Confident Man, which is now in post production.
